What is your current role and what are your activities?

I’m an “IBM Solution Manager” at AmeXio Luxembourg.  My role is to be a reference in IBM ECM technologies. My main activities are Pre-sales support, Business Analysis and Project management.

How did you came across AmeXio as an employer?

I already knew AmeXio as a competitor. I had heard that AmeXio had won a big contract in Luxembourg. A the same time, I had contacts with the managers (former colleagues).  We had some cool discussions and I decided to join the team!

Who do you work with a lot and what tasks do you take on together?

I work with a lot of different people and profiles in AmeXio.  I work with the sales team for the pre-sales activities.  I also exchange a lot with business analysts and project managers.  Finally, I also discuss with the developers about technology choices or implementation architecture.

What has surprised you the most within AmeXio and why?

I’m always surprised by the friendly atmosphere that reigns at AmeXio.  When you meet someone in the kitchen, it’s always a moment of laughter and jokes.

What tasks or activities do you get the most satisfaction from your work and why?

I really enjoy business analysis because I like to discover how customers organize themselves, how they face the challenges of their business. But I remain a technician and I also appreciate digging into technical aspects. 

What makes you a great fit at AmeXio?

AmeXio suits me perfectly because I like working in a caring atmosphere and the flexibility offered by AmeXio allows me to combine family and professional constraints.

What anecdote or experience within AmeXio has stuck with you to date and why?

My first day at AmeXio was during the COVID lockdown.  When I arrived at the office, there were only two guys but I was given all the equipment and a welcome pack.  In the welcome pack, there was a bottle of champagne and a health kit.  It’s a funny mix, hard to drink champagne with face mask. 😊
