What is your current role and what are your activities?

In my role as a Technical Consultant, I provide support for the use of business-critical applications. I serve as the first point of contact for users and stakeholders and resolving functional issues. My objective is to ensure the smooth operation of applications while enhancing user satisfaction. 

I act as a bridge between business and IT, translating complex technical issues into accessible insights for a wide range of stakeholders. I take responsibility for initiating and delivering structured solutions. I identify opportunities and develop improvements that support both the business and the IT department. When faced with complex issues, I delve into the root cause by analysing processes and mapping dependencies and propose structured solutions. 
 

How did you come across AmeXio as an employer?

I studied at Fontys Hogescholen ICT & Business, where an annual event called “Career Day” is held. I used the event to explore different companies to start my career. I had many conversations there, but AmeXio immediately felt like the right fit. Mainly because the atmosphere felt open and welcoming.

What has surprised you the most within AmeXio and why?

The attitude of my colleagues stands out. They are extremely helpful and genuinely interested. Everyone is driven, motivated and focused on getting the best results. There is a warm friendliness in the office, and because of that, you build a really strong connection with them.  
 

What tasks or activities do you get the most satisfaction from your work and why?

Having conversations, taking on challenges, and solving problems together with the client and actually ending up with a great solution as a team. Giving demos and seeing people’s positive reactions, and getting appreciation from both colleagues and clients is just really fun and motivating. 
 

What is the best tip you’ve ever gotten from a colleague?

You’re capable of more than you think. 
 

What anecdote or experience within AmeXio has stuck with you to date and why?

There isn’t one single experience that stands out, but what really stays with me and gets confirmed every day is the fun we have with my colleagues. In our team, we have the perfect balance between professionalism and a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
