The BAW Architect and Technical Lead is responsible for the technical direction of projects implementing an enterprise content and business process management solution based on IBM CP4BA technology, including DATACAP, Filenet, BAW, and BPM.
They work closely with technical teams, functional analysts, and clients (ministries and government agencies) to ensure the success of these projects.
Job description
Solution Design
- Define the technical vision for the solutions in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Design, document, and develop generic IBM BAW technical components (e.g., BAW Toolkits including data models, coaches, and generic REST service calls) to meet identified needs in a reusable manner.
Detailed Technical Analysis
- Produce and maintain technical analyses for our projects based on detailed functional specifications.
Gap Analysis
- Review the gap analysis provided in the detailed specification files to identify discrepancies between user needs and existing solutions.
Implementation and Configuration - Oversee and contribute to the technical and functional implementation and configuration of the solution in close collaboration with the development team.
Maintain and update existing BAW solutions to ensure scalability and compliance with the latest standards.
Testing - Participate in various test cycles, including unit tests, regression tests, and performance testing.
Write and execute test cases to ensure the quality of BAW solutions and guarantee non-regression and backward compatibility across different versions of implemented business processes.
Deployment & Production Rollout - Prepare and oversee solution deployments across different environments up to production.
Ensure that reference materials and documentation for administrators and users (deployment guides, configuration manuals, user guides) are updated accordingly.
Agile Methodology
- Contribute to backlog creation and maintenance, as well as effort estimation for implementation tasks.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives in close collaboration with the project team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Tech Lead/Developer in IBM Filenet, Case Management, and BAW/BPM
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as an Architect in enterprise content and business process management solutions
- Ability to design scalable, reusable, and high-performance solutions using IBM CP4BA technologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams
