We did all kinds of activities, ranging from very sporty ones to more chill ones (which was a good change of pace because of the lovely weather that day! ☀️)

1. Clay pigeon shooting! Concentration, a steady hand, and the quiet satisfaction of hitting something that is actively trying to escape you. Some colleagues turned out to be natural talents and some were trained veterans. Others discovered that their talents lie elsewhere.
2. Mario Kart! The kind where you are behind the wheel of an actual go-kart rather than pressing buttons on a sofa. Competitive spirits that had been politely contained throughout the working year found their outlet. The racing was, let us say, spirited! 😎
3. Airsoft! It proved to be an interesting team-building experience in the sense that you learn a great deal about your colleagues when there are foam pellets involved. Strategy emerged. Alliances were formed. A few were immediately broken. 😆
4. Various other sports activities and “office games”. The kind that remind you that your body exists outside of a desk chair. 😉 A lot of us had sore muscles for days! 

And when the dust settled, a BBQ was waiting. Good food, cold drinks, the afternoon sun, and the particular ease of a group of people who have just spent the day doing completely ridiculous things together. 😊 The evening took on a different energy entirely because of the FIFA World Cup. ⚽️ The Netherlands played Sweden, and the atmosphere went from relaxed to something considerably louder. 🙌🏻 📣 It was a fitting end to a day that had earned it!
